According to the 2006 Census, Pitt Meadows’s population was 15,623. Between the 2001 Census and the 2006 Census, the community’s population grew by 6.5 percent – the same rate of growth as Metro Vancouver as a whole. By 2021, the City expects an additional 5,000 residents, which will approach the City’s maximum desired population of 21,000.
